Well, it's certainly not like riding your average bicycle, though I'm told practicing on it helps. You can get a feel of how you turn around tight corners and keep your balance. In fact, balance plays a huge part in driving motorcycles. While cars will respond exclusively to your direct commands (e.g.: it won't turn unless you steer the wheel), if your body weight shifts to one side while riding a motorcycle, it will start leaning towards it, even if you try turning it to the other side. It is pretty much a balancing act. It also doesn't help that motorcycles are way heavier than bicycles, so you will have a hard time steering it back to neutral until you get this weight distribution right. Other than that, it functions very similarly to a car. Only the commands are in a different place. You accelerate with the right handle, shift gears with the lever on the left foot and the crutch is in the left trigger. Brakes are on the right pedal, so thankfully that's the same as a car.
Fun? Well, I don't know yet. I'm still learning. And around here, you have lessons in isolated spaces, as opposed to car lessons where you take it to the streets. But it looks like fun, and I do like motorcycles (favourite vehicle in games. Whenever I have the option I'll go with bikes). I'm having a little hard time learning, that's all.
