My name is SaneOsiris, I'm a dude and I'm 20. I chose the name 3 years ago because I'm a rather calm and reasonable person when it comes to gaming (Sane), and I liked how Osiris sounded like, knowing he's the god of the underworld / afterlife. Osiris was NOT chosen because of the skate brand. I play games since the NES, but I prefered playing Lego. I really started playing a lot when I was 14 with Starcraft and KotOR II. Now I'm mostly playing Forza 4, Terraria, CoD, Sims 3 and some more. I loved Minecraft, but my interest is diminishing. Terraria was one of the best games I've played with a friend IMO, we always played together and we will play Starbound for sure! Commander Keen was chosen as a picture because I saw my older brother-in-law play it a lot when I was little and it marks a great time in my life, even if I was 5-8 years old. Sorry for the long description, but it's not over! This forum isn't the first one I've joined, but it's the first one to ever catch my attention and to make me want to get involved. Proof : this is my first thread in my entire life! I hope to have a lot of fun in here and discuss Starbound and all other things cool in life! Hello forum world!
Hello and welcome to the Forums, SaneOsiris! If you don't mind me asking, why is your interest in Minecraft diminishing? Anyways, if you need anything, send me a message, and I'll do my best to help. I hope you enjoy your stay here!
My interest with Minecraft diminished since Terraria, I don't really know why, but I dont have the will to play as much as before... It feels like its lacking some things somehow... I'm kinda sick of building and building and building. I love the adventure side of terraria a lot, and adventure is kinda lacking in minecraft IMO. If you can make me play it again, I would be very grateful!
Hey, welcome to the forums! My intro thread was also the first thing I'd ever posted...no more lurking for me!
I've been lurking forever it seems! Now I just feel like I should speak up a bit in this forum world.
I have found that the best way to get interested in something that you have lost interest in is to do it a completely new way. The best way to do this is to set yourself a goal with restrictions. For instance, I got bored with Minecraft for a while, so I challenged myself to start a new world and build a house using only wool and mossy cobblestone. It took many days, but I eventually did it, and by the end, I had discovered a new way to look at minecraf. I haven't gotten bored with it since. Two other great ways to spice it up are to use mods and to play with other people. I go looking for mods every once in a while, and the variety is immense. Anything you could want, from a Left 4 Dead mod to a WWII planes mod is there. As for multiplayer, I played multiplayer for the first time the other day with Tiger, and I had a blast. Easily the best time I've ever had in Minecraft. Get some buddies together, and play. These ideas should help rekindle the flame. I hope I have helped you!!!
I play Multiplayer on Minecraft for over a year, and all I did was build so I got bored with it! I need a server with ppl surviving vanilla, I don't like mods much, I have some, but always prefered Vanilla for some reason. Maybe if I can find some ppl on here with a server...
I would love to play with you, especially if it will help you get back into Minecraft. I know someone who has a server, and maybe they'll let all three of us play occasionally. <.< >.>
I usually communicate through PMs, as it would be conversation between us, and we aren't bothering anyone else
Greetings I to have been playing games since the nes one of my favorite games is for the nes called Astyanax to this day I still can't beat it and I refuse to use the cheats they added in the game because of its difficulty. also when I get bored of minecraft I make a glass pyramid at the bottom of the sea or let my friend navigate in the nethers which means we'll get lost but when we do find are way back it make adventuring way more fun afterwards
Your first Thread Ever?! well then. I shall rate it an 8 of 10! with special brownie points for having cut your teeth on the NES Welcome!
