Im not really new here. But i never introduced myself. I love playing video games such as DayZ,Arma 2,League of Legends and terraria. I also enjoy driving my dirtbike out in the woods. I recently found starbound after forgetting about it so im hoping to be more active on the forums^^. Just a question is WelshPixie still active in the Starbound community?
Nice game list, I enjoy all of those. Have you tried War Z yet? It's a different take on the zombie survival horror like Day Z. I had a blast playing Day Z, and this game is just as fun.
So basically the guy is complaining that his first day in an Alpha stage was buggy? Well that's kinda what you're there for. Another rant he went on about was how you can "buy weapons before you can even join the game". This is bullshit, the only "weapons" you can buy before you join the game is a Flashlight and Baseball bats. "Make you pay for Alpha". No, when you pay you are buying the full game. It is entirely up to you whether you choose to play during Alpha and Beta, or wait for the "official" launch on November 5th. I was a DayZ nut, and I was also weary of War Z prior to launch. Their dev team however is exceptional, they work around the clock 24/7 improving the game. I think at one point last week, they released 3 different patches in one day. What other game has that kind of dedication? The game has come LEAPS AND BOUNDS from where it was on day 1 where zombies were invisible. I guess people forget when Day Z was so buggy that you'd break your bones proning through a doorway, die when proning backwards into a rock, and zombies that pass right through solid walls to kill you. tl;dr: His argument is childish.
