    Will people who preordered be given the choice between the vita or PC version will anyone with a vita who preordered get both the PC and vita version? Is it gonna be scaled back in anyway?

    It will probably be ported to the Vita following the initial releases on PC, Mac and Linux. I do not know if pre-ordering will give you access to the Vita version, but I doubt it. Pre-ordering only gets you access to the beta and full release on PC, Mac and Linux.

    In addition, it's probably too early to say if the game will be scaled back on the Vita at all.

    Tiy announced a month or two back that they'd be doing Playstation ports post-release.

    I guess I gotta fix my eye balls... again

    But I guess it would be cool if Starbound hit vita I mean I don't have one and I wish I had one but I don't.... (as long as they don't pull the "Let's add exclusive content to consoles to get moar money move" move but i wouldn't never expect that from Starbound as they don't even have a pre-order gift(and I'm happy for that) lol EQUALITY FOR DATH WIN)

    We were only promised with the Steam and the non-DRM version on full release. We aren't entitled to anything else after.
    The free updates and DLC, and as you said IF they give us the Vita port is a gift.

    So let's not expect anything.

    I don't think we're entitled to the DLC part but yes to the free updates

    DLC = Downloadable Content.

    It doesn't mean it's free. It doesn't mean it costs money. DLC doesn't imply anything about cost, it refers to additional game content.. that is downloadable. lol.

    Your pre-order gives you access to the items listed in the tier you select. This typically includes invite to the BETA on release, the full version of Starbound on release, plus a steam key for play online. Supported platforms include Windows, Mac, and Linux.

    Pre-order does not grant access to later platform versions such as vita, according to the pre-order FAQ page. Nor does the pre-order reference access to future DLC releases (free or otherwise).

    I'm pretty sure they said if they do release paid for DLC it will be huge but they are still going to update the game with content for free.

  13. Active Link

    Active Link Master Astronaut

    But right now there are no plans for paid DLC. So all of the DLC in the game is the free updates.

    Meaning in the future, there unlikely but, CAN be plans for paid DLC.
