Completed game while ago. Now i have 500 health but when ı need healing, bondages and nano bondages heal stats are so low. Having problem while fighting. İ think healing stats for med kits etc.. should increase. You guys annoyed with that too?

I wish there were higher end healing items outside of cooking.. =/ Until then, I will be super-sizing all of my Burger orders at McStar King..
I didn't notice until you pointed it out..

Nano-wraps is an improvement, but I still rely on red stims which are decent. Red stims can also be bought.

Food is what you do, collect chef spawners or make home where you find a town with someone selling food. Because farming the normal way is super slow.

I wish at the very least that sleeping was a percentage, rather than a flat healing rate. With tier 10 gear it takes so long to get full health while sleeping.

A Hamburger (human food) and a red stim pack together can almost fully heal you.

Pineapple upside crown cake is my fave, I'm not sure which race it's from as I found the recipe in a chest but it give plenty of healing and flames too for some reason.

Food is absolutely the way forward!

Come to think of it given the hilarious typo above I use the Apex torture table as a bed because it gives way better healing than a standard one!!

Banana bread is great but would be much better if they unborked wheat crop yields. The recipe is a 2:1 ratio wheat/banana. I'm lucky to make that when I plant wheat 3 to 1. It really does tie up (badaboom) my farming to regen item time.

Your best bet is either find a planet that has NPCs selling red stimpacks or do some exploring for crop seeds (if RNG is in your favor) that pertain to your species-specific food recipes and invest time on a sizable farm. If you're willing, I remember someone uploading a mod on that increases the healing rate of beds depending on their tier (higher tier beds will heal for more). If anything, you can make a custom mod yourself that adds healing-related items (not that hard once you learn the how-to). Well, if you're playing only single player that is. Mods won't work on multiplayer unless the server host has them as well.

Red Stims are expensive and aren't even good. Make some Regen 3 food.

mingo has a really long grow time, maybe the slowest if I've read correctly.

I don't know which race you are, but Florans start with a recipe called Meat n' Marrow. You start with the Boneboo seeds needed for one part, and the other part is cooking 'Cooked Alien Meat' again to get 'Meat Chunks'. Voila! Full hunger and Regen 3 for a good while.
