Having problem playing the game with my SO. Info inside.

Her specs:

• Intel Core I5 - 4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz / 2.40 GHz
• 6 GB RAM (5,89 GB usable)
• 64x OS Windows 10
• NVIDIA Geforce 840M *Driver updated to version 381.81 WHQL (Up2date)

My specs (Running server at the same time):

• Intel Core I5 CPU 650 @ 3.20 GHz / 3.20 GHz
• 16 GB ram (15,9 GB Usable)
• 64x OS Windows 10
• AMD Radeon R7 200 Series

INFO:

I'm running the server fine, my character has zero lag, near perfect FPS (could not get FPS overlay with steam to see for myself).

However she runs the game with 10-14 FPS as standard. She also runs the game with VSYNC turned off.

Option wise we turned her display down to 1366x768 (so she could play it in fullscreen. Zoom level at. We don't want to turn it down to x4 (hard to see enemies).

Her computer destroys the recommended settings, so what is the problem?

When a computer can handle the recommended settings, I would atleast think the game would run smoothly without having to fix stuff in the registery or with the Nvidia Control panel, is this game even optimized for nvidia users yet?!

MAX FPS SO FAR:

Tested her game under single player:

On ship: +25fps
On planet: 18-25 fps

Tested her game multi player:

On ship: 19-24 fps
On planet: 10-14 fps

Resolving Compatibility Mode

Nvidia Control Panel settings/Manage 3D settings

Run Starbound.exe (both 32/64) as admin.

Run Starbound.exe with Windows 7 Comp.
