To me they are the sound of summer, but there aren't any in the game and I can't find any mods of them either. Hoping someone has come across a mod that adds them. This is what they sound like for those not aware:
I think you would have to mess with the Wave_Bank.xwb to get that to happen, but it's a little tricky because the sound file can't be too large or else it will cause SMAPI to crash from data overload. Otherwise, no. Most sound edits for Stardew Valley are either removing a sound entirely or replacing/adding music to the game over ambiance noise.
ahhh i love this idea but ive no idea how to change the wave_bank file someone replace the summer ambience ... like bees buzzing or whatever ,, with cicadas plz lol
