Have I played too much?

erm.. kinda ashamed to post this.. but

bought this game wednesday at 6p.m....

I've logged 58 hours as of this writing. Maybe you should play even more!

 

Maybe. It's always nice to take a break every now and then to stretch and perhaps take a shower. Also remember that characters and save files will probably be incompatible with future updates so you shouldn't get too attached to your progress this early in the beta.

 

Either you're a wizard, or you had early access. The game hasn't even been out for 40 hours yet.

 

lol i have taken a shower. and slept for 10 hours or so. then I woke up, and I am still on.

 

I'm glad to see people are enjoying it

My first impressions weren't amazing, but I'm learning to like it.

Also, don't burn yourself playing too much... for all we know, what we are doing now is absolutely temporary (who knows if it will last a couple weeks?) and you gotta save some for the full game (with storyline and all the tweaks - which is usually a much better experience)...

 

As moomoo said, that's impossible. Unless you're an alpha tester.

I got a pre-beta copy on Monday from Starbound themselves, who were generous enough to let me playtest and livestream it before it hit Steam. Very nice folks, and a truly amazing game.

I really cannot recommend this game enough to do it justice. Really excited to see it do well. Heck, it's already doing really well!

 

I agree, I love it so much already that I have to spread the love by giving away a free copy lol.

 

You can never play too much Starbound.
The only intolerable amount is none.

I've logged 23 hours so far, a good 8-9 hour stretch just yesterday alone.
