Have I missed the Human lore?

Everybody keeps saying the Hylotl lore will be the last one we'll know so did I miss the Human lore or did people just forget humans existed?

Oh, you mean for this game. Well I certain they will get to it soon enough, as so it seems from the fact the race we see them play most of the time it Human.

 

Why do people keep calling those things "lore." Those are intros. Lore is this. And we've only got the avian one so far. :P

 

lore is anything that explains the backstory about something in say a game or movie intros explain what's happened before you started playing thus its explaining lore

 

Humans were living on earth. Tentacles destroy earth. Humanity moves into space. The end.

Anyways Human lore hasn't been released BUT we know roughly what happens because of the cutscene.

Well, do you see why it might be a tad confusing for some people. I think we should all call the intro lore's the intro (or... just intro lore) and the pdf's (and the in-game documents) lore. I feel it makes much more sense like that.

 

They probably haven't released human lore out of the idea that maybe humanity is in a state in the future of our current reality just a thought. basically take our history and whatnot. add it to starbound. there's your human lore (potentially)

As for my estimation, I'd be fine with a classic "xxx years into the future" plot, but I would not be happy with a "found peace at last and lived in utopia until it was destroyed" trope (seems to be the one they go for ) because of how terribly typical it is... Humans don't know how to stop fighting on a species-wide scale, it's as natural as eating, sleeping and loving, we won't stop doing it, ever.
