Has there been any more word on the game?

I know the devs like to post about the game on everyone other website and social media EXCEPT for the games own website. So my question is has there been any more news on patches, content or anything about the game? It's been awful quite lately and im still wondering when the fast and furious patches are going to start...

And so i can stop it before it starts.. IM NOT RIPPING ON THE DEVS AND I KNOW WE JUST HAD A MAJOR HOLIDAY. I'm just asking if anyone has heard anything.

Following our post-beta-launch crunch, we've been taking it relatively easy over the holidays.
Now that the new year has begun, we've got soooo much to do. Look out for the next big patch sometime over the next couple of weeks. It'll be a big one, and contains the much-anticipated final character wipe, among many other fixes and additions. You'll finally be able to get attached to your characters! Yay!

 

Stop ripping on the devs, we just had a major holiday.

Now on a serious note, try checking twitter if you haven't. Thats where most people get the info I think.

To clarify, the next update will make characters backwards compatible, meaning no more character wipes. Including ships.

 

I'm going to bet on : early next week.

 

I hope the next update is soon. My parents are leaving town for a week and it'd be the best week ever If I could binge on Starbound the entire time. =)

 

Taking a break from Starbound, the anticipation of the presumed final wipe has given me a chance to catch up on my Steam backlog. Damn you Steam sales.

Tiy is talking to the dyeing armor mod guy to get his mod into the game (link)

Tiy sead the patch will make saves backwards compatable so there will be no more wipes after this update BUUUUUT this update WILL be a wipe

Starbound sold 1000000 copys

Humble Bundle OST was updated

Bartwe sead the patch would be out in a week (sead this 5 days ago)

Starrybound mod was removed from the mod detabase cus it was dangerous

Tiy was intrested in added in this players creation
