Has anyone made it to the second boss?

I was just wondering if there are any tips on how to fight the 2nd boss before I try.

 

I think many of these folks are still too busy complaining about how "hard" the game is :\ so they are probably still stuck on the first one.

 

Lol, I am still on the first boss. I'm not complaining, I think the difficulty has been fine up till now, and I'm loving the game! But how did you beat the first boss? I can't even touch him, just keep dying to the penguins or the ship smashing down on me. I'm an Avian, using iron bow and middle tier armor (not copper but not silver). My melee is the Tiny Tomahawk.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any advice!

 

The games sandbox part is largely what the super early beta is for testing - main game progression isn't really in yet, the penguins are actually a lvl 10 boss

 

I'm still on the first boss. I was about to demolish the first boss (at least I think I was.. I was really geared) and what do you know, a bug. My Distress Beacon just disappears, and nothing happens. So I try to use various commands such as /itemid, and suddenly, the game terminates itself. So, I suppose the devs really don't appreciate people spawning items in.

 

Honestly I trapped the second boss in a small area and kept shooting him with the brain extractor. The only weapon I had at the time that did any amount of damage. It almost felt like cheating. I am curious though have any of you found any guns yet? I have yet to find an actual laser/projectile weapon. I've been to level 16 planets so far.

 

Okay, I gotcha. I was worried I was the only one having trouble and had missed something, lol. XP

I cant get a superior brain

I cant seem to find a superior brain, any sugestions?

 

no, but when i get home i'm gonna make haste to lvl 10 planets, sinds i have silver armor a gold pick and a melee that deals 40+ dmg. hope i fund some guns or powerfull stuff there .

 

I found a vendor that sold guns, and the avian specific armor/weapons schematics. Guns had 6AP and varied from pistols, sniper rifles, shotguns and assault rifles. The avians were aboard a flying airship which was pretty badass, only way I could tell it was there was an anchor and chain leading up to it. I think the planet was a jungle, maybe lvl 4-6.

 

I must say though, this game has me captivated already xD

 

I gathered all the parts and stuff and then I was like yaaay now I have a robot let's just put this in her-then I died. And I never saw the robot again.

 

There's a 7% chance of getting a superior brain, just keep trying!

 

I killed the second boss and am now moving onto tier 3.

 

On the third boss, pretty much impossible on melee.

 

Hello, please can you tell me how to acces the third boss?

I've killed the brain mech yet.

yeah the third boss is retarded ... i have full titanium armor (took a LONG time to mine for it ) and i have the strongest bow i can get .. still haven't found any guns if there are any available to players and melee weapons that have 30 armor penetration and about 29 dmg soo yeah i have no idea so far how to beat him

 

The game seems really difficult when you first play it but as you progress you get used to how everything works and it eventually becomes easier

 

i see you guys have problems with finding guns well i'll tell you i got one! i bought it from a space pirate kinda guy on his flying ship if you find one you'll know you first encounter a long flat area and than you see a anchor built up up up and you'll see the ship its pretty big. its a lvl 11 gun on a lvl 10 planet that i bought. but i am now stuck too, i got full snow infantry amor and i am in the beta sector but i feel like there is a gap in the armors. there is one armor wich could be better wich is the upgrade from gold armor but it only gives 2def per item extra i feel like a upgrate from 13 to 15 is not worth it. so did any of you guys find a way to get good armor cuz i am getting sinlge hitted on lvl 17+ planets
