Has anyone found a Hylotl house or village?

Been playing since beta was released on Steam and all I ever find is Avian, Glitch, Floran and the much rarer Apex villages. I have yet to find a Human or Hylotl settlement, I've encountered a lone Hylotl merchant NPC (he died that night too) and the only humans seem to be random bandits.

Is this just RNG or are they not implemented yet because I would love to pillage a Hylotl settlement and use the materials to make my own space dojo.

 

They are not implemented yet and will come out with ocean planets.

 

I'm sort of thinking that human settlements and hylotl ones aren't there yet seeing how I've gone from alpha to x and never seen one before.

 

It's not implemented yet. Maybe by Stage 2 of the beta. Definitely by Stage 3.

A simple look in assets/dungeons will confirm this.

There are villages for Glitch, and for Florans. But not for Hylotl.

 

And humans are also present in jails. I think I've found an abandoned human mine settlement, but note the keyword "abandoned."

 

Good to know. I asked mostly due to seeing a screenshot of an asian-themed Hylotl house and was thinking about how it'd be nice to get a hold of some of the blocks used to build it.

 

They either modded in the blocks or stripped a Hylotl ship for them.

 

Hylotl villages will be underwater, mostly on Ocean biomes. Seeing as the Ocean biomes aren't in yet, neither are the Hylotl villages.

As for the lack of human villages, the destruction of Earth sort of meant that the majority of remaining human complexes will be militarized. Hence the lack of civilian human residences and all the USCM facilities.

 

Ocean biomes are in the game...sort of. You just have to edit the celestial.cfg file in the assets folder by adding the term "ocean" to the list of biomes.

*There's also an "arctic" and "savannah" biome as well.

 

Just to add: you also have to add said biomes to orbitParamters, as well as unlockedBiomes. (For those who are interested).
