I'm not quite sure how to put this. Personally, I've never really felt like you've outright acted that others are beneath you, but *sometimes* I have gotten impression you might feel that way a bit (even a little subconsciously). I couldn't really pinpoint a particular thing that makes me think this, just some of your mannerisms and the way you write stuff in general.

When it's subtle stuff like this, I mostly write it off as a kind of personality thing - I'm a pretty bad judge of this kind of stuff, not to mention I'm sure the way I speak and talk etc. gives the impression to others that I have traits I don't really see in myself too. Sort of a byproduct of communicating to someone primarily through text (FWIW, I've only really 'noticed' this in written text by you, not over, say, VC in the mumble).

If you are guilty over those things then it's only on a few occasions that I've neglected to notice. But I do stuff like that too, I've got a lot of pride in myself, and I think Frank even called me out on it one time. So maybe that's why I wouldn't notice? I dunno, I've always seen us as equals.

According to BM, that's EXACTLY how I "act". Sorry, but I'm inclined to think people who dislike you/hate you are naturally inclined to think you're acting with a "holier-than-thou" attitude and so on.

Just like the ones who get all cranky at the literal sight of literally, and start correcting that which is not an error, they do so because they've fixated themselves on the idea that anyone using literally literally is literally illiterate, figuratively an ass, and so on.

So it's kinda like the people who dislike you are only looking at things with the mindset that you're being smug and so on, and therefore ignore any other clues in speech that might point to other positive ways of acting.
