Gyrruss' Modpack! [Deleted]

The pack works fine, although when I spawned there was a non textured creature with only wings shown, not sure which mod causes this... Will post pics later.

 

If I'm not mistaken that's a big with the "Freaks of Nature" mod. If it's bothersome, simply toss that mod into the DISABLED folder, and no more creepy headless and/or bodyless creatures will appear!

 

Any servers running this modpack/

 

None that I know of. It honestly started out as a private modpack for my friends and I, and then decided to toss it out because why not (as well, my main rig died, which explains the lack of updates). If you or anyone want to make a public server, feel free to leave a note here!

 

That makes me sad, there are so many good looking mods/modpacks out there but there aren't ever any servers willing to run them for whatever reason. The vanilla game is great dont get me wrong, but the mods people put their time into just take it to the next level.

Hello! I tried to download the modpack today, only to receive this:
I've tried multiple times, no avail. You may want to do something about your download link, or double check the files you're linking in the download link.

 

Thank you for the notification! I have scanned the modpack and it appears that it gives me a false-positive on the cheat engine, being a 3rd party "Cheat Engine" program. I'll attach a link into the description soon enough without the Cheat Engine, and you can download it if you wish to separately.

EDIT: The secondary link has been added (and tested)! Feel free to use it and if another issue arises, let me know guys!

EDIT #2: As well, just making a small mention to everyone that might have this issue: the cheat engine is safe. It does not contain any viruses and/or malicious software, despite Virus Scanners and others of the sort assuming it is. However, I'll keep the secondary download up in case anyone doesn't feel like risking their computer. Don't for get to at least hit that download button though!

 

Which mod from this pack conflict with Frackin Flora ?

 

I'm led to believe that none of these conflict with Frackin Flora, after using it multiple times. However if you do encounter an error, do let me know!

I, uh....downloaded this modpack yesterday to give modding Starbound a try for the first time.

I followed the instructions to install it, and the game crashes past the Chucklefish logo. I don't know if I've done something wrong, or if some of these mods are actually in conflict with each other.





If these images are broken, I'm sorry for trying to be clever and skipping the existence of Photobucket to use my Mediafire instead. Unfortunately due to posting requirements on these forums (and this being my first post EVER) I can't post links to them. So my pseudo-brilliance has been circumvented BY SMARTER PEOPLE THAN ME YET AGAIN. I might as well call myself a retard and be done with trying to sophisticate myself beyond untranslatable "herpderpwerp" for the rest of my life.

I don't know of anything else I can show off to describe my problem.

Huh, that's pretty weird. I must've probably forgotten something or accidentally slipped in something from another build. I'll check it out once I got the time. Thanks for speaking out!

Edit: It seems I've left a duplicate entry of a mod, haha! I gave it a test run and it should be working smoothly, please check if it works for you too!

There's a problem. I cannot even download the file because all my browsers label it as Malware and harmful to my computer. What's going on?

 

My mistake, I keep forgetting to take the cheat engine out of the "clean" pack. It's been fixed up once more and uploading as I type this up and running. To lean more about this issue, check my earlier post.

 

It still won't let me download it. It says "The zip is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it."

 

I'm sorry, but I'm not seeing the issue. I have successfully downloaded the modpack from the alternate link provided in the front page, in Chrome, and didn't get an error.


However when using the main download I do get an error, as expected, explained by the earlier provided post in detail.


I'm honestly not sure what's causing this error for you because everything else, aside from the Cheat Engine, that's inside the compressed files are the mods listed in the front page. Are you positive you're using the alternate link instead of the regular one?
