    Well now I look like a moron. Though in my defense, it's not called starbound.log.

    I tried to include it but then it crashed my web browser because it was about a mile long.

    I tried it in unstable and it worked, except for when I put a gun in the machine, I couldn't modify it and I got the parts and the gun.

    For what I see, the mod is not working because recursive_compare find a function inside the table, I've made a simple workaround and make it working, here the resulting mod.

    That's amazing. lol

    Edit: I can't believe I've just been glancing over this mod until now. This sounds amazing.
    Does it work with non-vanilla generated guns?

    Basically I'm wondering if it will work with my arm cannon mod :p (Edit2: It does work with my arm cannons, but it breaks the ability to charge shot. I am okay with this because it DOES work with no crashing issues. :))

    I found a bug: Assembled guns lose their description set. While this does nothing in terms of gameplay, it means that it isn´t possible to see their stats without using the Gun Assembly Station to see each part´s stats.

    Gun parts should be obtainable in more ways, such as by finding them in chests separately from guns, dropped by mobs (Minibosses would drop them more often), being able to buy them (At a lower price than guns of the same tier, as 3 pieces are needed to make a gun), etc...
    Usually, the found spare parts would be useful at modifying existing guns, as, elthrough they wouldn´t be incredibily uncommon, the different kinds of parts mean that being able to make a gun from scratch would take a long time.

    Amazing, was planning to make something very similar for one of my mods. A couple of suggestions though to make it perfect. While I haven't used it in game my self yet, I do have a few suggestions and pardon me if they are already added or are impossible for I am not sure how you coded this because I have not looked into the .modpak my self. One neat thing to add is the option to name/ rename a weapon that has been processed in the machine. Also any weapons that cannot be spliced such as non random generated weapons should display a message like, "Cannot splice, weapon is unique". This is pretty much all I have, not sure if you can do it or is it is added already but good work.
