Not every weapon needs to be a laser pistol, or sword. I would like to see Guitars or something of the like in game Playable or not, it would be cool to be able to BASH my enemies with a guitar. OR, it could be played. The guitar could then emit mind melting licks, and rhythms until the opponent has subsided.
Yeah would like to see guitars in the game, Acoustic Guitars, Electric Guitars ... Elemental Guitars, etc. Functions: Bash enemies just as you would with another melee weapon, like a sword or lance Play music, every instrument having it's own sounds When playing music on Elemental Guitars it would give elemental damage to the enemies
Also, if you played it really badly, the enemies would clutch their ears, and fall to the ground, paralyzed.
Playing music would be awesome, I can imagine like an electric guitar that has a fire elemental ability on criticals. So like, you play it but when it crits it shoots a flaming note burst at the enemy. haha.
Why not just run around with a guitar smashing everything in your path with it? Sounds more effective to me.
Yeah, I was imagining it kinda like that... Except for the "note" part, I would like to see something more like a sound wave... Maybe just notes if you play normally, but when you play hard it would turn into sound waves which would do more damage... I think it could turn out to be really fun.
Yeah I know, it would be totally awesome, hope they make instruments for the game. I made some random GIF animation from a random idea I had in my head, didn't want to use more time on it so it ended up like that. Feel free to use it if you want.
I just hope there's random npcs playing instruments occasionally, preferably with a little tune playing while they do. Even if I can't use them myself it would be awesome to feel like the settlements were actually more alive!
It'd be cool to see stat bonuses from it too: Guitar: Right click to play. *Effect - Calm: Increases health regeneration for you and your allies +3 per second* You could have a whole band going off at the same time!
I would like to rock out after destroying a boss or accomplishing a mission so Guitars get my vote. Even if it is just an emote with sound that would be cool!
oh man, with a penchant for metal that i have, i would totally rock out with an electric guitar! imagine carrying around a portable amplifier on your back slot, and running around with destructive soundwaves coming out of your back. alternatively i would OCD and spend forever collecting various guitar models... for collection. haha, i support having guitars in the game!
What if different guitars could do different things? Like an banjo could play a cowboy song, which calls in space cowboys! Or they could make enemies dance, and stun in a way.
Totally C: Yeah making the mobs / enemies dance is a good idea, I like that lol But maybe that's too OP... At least make the pets dance?
Would be neat to see if there were certain things you could do to get npc's or mobs to interact with the music.
