Modding Help Guide for the Creation of Location Mods for Content Patcher/SMAPI

    So first of all, I'm trying to create 3 new NPCs because I was inspired by this Florence NPC which was converted to CP in the migrating to CP thread. So when I messing around the files, I noticed this in the content.json:

    "Florence": "adult/rude/neutral/neutral/male/non-datable/null/Other/winter 22//Saloon 33 6/Flo"

    I thought that I wanted to make a location for my NPCs in the forest but the issue here is I have no knowledge of that whatsoever. I don't even know how to identify what tile should my NPCs spawn at. If you can please help me, I would be very grateful and appreciate it. Thanks!

      @dhaas18 See NPC data on the wiki for some general info, and you can see in-game tile positions using the Debug Mode mod. I don't know if you need anything special for it to work with custom locations, but I know other content packs have done it. You can ask in #modding on the Stardew Valley Discord, there are NPC modders there who could answer in more detail.
