You probably meant that being moderator doesn't imply the person in question is chucklefish staff (which is true). Problem is, your analogy means "just because they were named moderator, doesn't mean they're a moderator"

There is no definite release date. The best reasons have been given to believe December, or early (Jan-March) 2013

 

I can see Starbound coming out in Spring of 2013
