Guessing Game - How long do you think until Starbound is out? :O

i'm going to go ahead and say mid april to early may, as the recent lack of updates coupled with a bit of patience makes me think they want to build some suspension. i'm going to say we will at least see some form of beta by the end of april. even if it's something like a sandbox style mode (sans-story/quests/etc) that we get.

its only said the beta will arrive in 2013 so the finalgame may even last longer
and i thought tiy confirmed 2013 starbound will come out (finalgame)

Anyways, I think Starbound's release date is going to be pretty close to the OUYA's.
So I'd say June-July.

 

its going to come out MARCH 27 same time as the terraria release date for the ps3. its so obvious because they helped make terraria or something. and they said its coming out in march.

In seriousness though, probably mid-end 2013 according to 87% of the rumors (this is based on absolutely nothing at all).

Well, based on harsh guess on Economy. I would say start of summer. There will be plenty time to play the game, therefore bigger chances of it being promoted to "Hot" stuff. It won't be released in April or May because those are tough dates for exams (preparing and stuff) and pulling ends at school. And based on the updates i would say that this game is ready enough to be out this year, at least in middle. So it sums up for me.

It's economy because this game doesn't have so much attention as it should have. I have played a lot of terraria and minecraft and only recently, by accident, heard about this game. It's like hidden in the underground for now.

That's why June - July.

 

My opinion exactly. My belief is that the dev Tiy is very humble and determined to create a game worth it's own merits. I also believe that if such a game exists it will be able to rise up above all obstacles through hard work, skill, ingenuity, and determination.

It can't do a worse job of running Humanity then we already are as is.

 

It will feel very weird to have this game come out...I have gotten so accustomed to checking in most days of every week and seeing what pops up across Chucklefish's forums. Still, I will throw another date out there (since 12/12/12 release didn't happen).

I am going to shoot for a guess at August 16th as the release date.

If a pre-order is made and a public Beta available, then I'd say June 28th

However, with Monster Hunter on the 3DS and Terraria on the XBox (please don't hate), I feel as though I am set for a spell ^_^

 

At this rate, i'm guessing that SB will be released at the end of 2013.

I don't know when it'll come out, but dammit I want it sooner rather than later even if its beta and buggy as long as I can mess around in it (and report some bugs for squishing) I'll be happy.
