    You need not worry about that. They have no intention of releasing a half-assed game. If Tiy thinks it 'might' be ready by end of the year I have full confidence it will be polished. They will delay it as long as needed if they think otherwise.

    Starbound will release when Bioshock Infinite does. So... Never... Just kidding. I think that Starbound will come out around December 15th, or, if it gets delayed, in late February to early March.

    Everything else I've been looking forward to this year has been pushed back a minimum of 5 months, why not Starbound too?

    EDIT: Well, it's definitely not coming out in March anymore. I'm guessing May or June.

    I would prefer to wait until around New Year's for a well-polished game, rather than a rushed one.

    Don't think they'll create it around any significant holidays/events so as to prevent people from being distracted from the game
