Guessing Game - How long do you think until Starbound is out? :O

Well maybe the end of march until a pre-order beta (if it happens) and then... i dunno...
I just hope that it wont come out in February (unlikely but hey) - there are already a few "good" games coming out and i dont think they would themself a favor by releasing in feb.

 

Hell no!!! Game Companies do this too damn often as is! Starbound must be a flawless shining polished gem!!! Tiy's the one who's right!!!

 

If they do announce a release date its going to be in valve time so i would predict that its going to come out on the 25th april

 

January 2014.

Reading the first page of this thread made me almost cry. We were all so bright eyed and hopeful.

 

Id say it would hopefully come out near the end of winter, I hope they could keep their promise this time but you know, tweaks, testing, errors could effect it... hopefully before the year ends

I'm all for Valve time if it means having a really good game after all the wait.

You know, a lot of people give Valve a hard time when it comes to their processing times and release dates. But having worked with them personally, I always found to them to be quick, friendly and helpful. Especially to Indie Game designers.

 

Hmmm I think it's going to come out some time in spring?

 

Waiting for Starbound to come out is like waiting for an old, sick grandparent to die.
You know it's gonna happen soon, you just don't know when.

 

Well their email support response times could definitely use some work... I definitely have heard good things about working with them from indie devs though.

 

I have two guesses.

Guess one: "When it's done". This is about one to three months after they think the product is ready for release.
Guess two: "Later". This is a point in time between "Now" (the present moment in time) and "Ever" (the further possible point in time before time itself ends).

I'm personally rooting for 'guess one'.

 

Heh... April first, to really freak people out.

 

I'm sure that Chucklefish is better than Blizzard.
