The title says it all basically the idea is if you destroy a building in the village the guards will attack you. (you can still get the stuff from the buildings but you have to kill the guards first)

    I definitely agree :DD
All those that literally went to villages for the sake of stealing stuff shall be punished(not really but it'd really make new characters be aware of the guards)! X3 and it's just weird for guards to be like "oh just another adventurer stealing all my chairs and beds from my home leaving me nothing, it's definitely OKAY!" in situations like that

I know right. The guard says I used to be an adventurer but then bed was stolen and I couldn't sleep anymore. I know that wasn't funny :( at least I tried :p

    It's okay
Because I make skyrim jokes too
"I used to sleep like you, but then I took a raiding to the bed."
    :lod: I'm sorry

They should make it so guards do attack when you take things.

but if they do, they should also implement an item called a basket.
use it on a guard and you can take things again without punishment.
    ;)

Or there could be a function that allows you to ask for "items" from glitches who have them!
Or you can kill them and steal their stuff

Yeah that sounds like a really cool idea I would like this more than just stealing it directly from the buildings
    (Buying it)

its a must be in game thing been suggested sinse the release i think they are working on it but i also think its hard to program maybe they should put some sort of flag or something that works like a beacon that creates a bubbel (not visibel with out some tool) around the town and everthing inside is ileagal to mine

Wait you don't already kill them and take their stuff? I mean, find places with stuff you like that are TOTALLY ABANDONED?

Well, for some cities, you have to deactivate the shield generator before you can start mining blocks (Or at least, Apex villages and dungeons have this)
Perhaps those should be placed in off-limit buildings, and that trespassing there makes you an enemy?

*heart breaks from bashes- tears went down eyes pls :lod:*
anyhow  I feel like buying the furnitures could be another alternative way to get furnitures from the NPCs, other than kill them and steal em (or steal em infront of dem anyway they won't mind really - or a more friendly way to get it if this goes along with the "guard will attack thieves" kind of thing)

Yes you can get furnitures from dungeons (I do this often too actually X3) but I still think it'll be kind of neat to 'buy' furnitures from the NPCs, maybe - wait what oh yuss we already have the merchants for that
I apologize for le short-spanned memory of mine  well then we won't need this feature then, but still I still want the guards to go after the thieves though, you can steal them without an NPCs seeing you, if an NPC spots you he/she'd go to the nearest guard and report you (or scream down the road, either way works :DD) and then you'd be on the "blacklist" of said town, pretty much the same as "hitting an NPC" kind of thing.

I like this idea, but lets not limit it to simply destroying buildings. I think NPCs should notice when you loot containers as well. It would definitely add another level of immersion
