What began as a simple hunt for Cerulium became one strange adventure for a USCM-influenced Glitch. I decided to use my huge stockpile of medkits for once, and the collection of Whiskey bottles since I ran out of meat a long time ago. (Or just for the cool factor, alcohol and that) A point of interest! I kept going to the left when I saw some kind of incline. I went up the side and saw... Is that a Glitch? With an Apex helmet? First thing he said was "Desecrator...I must destroy you." Is this some kind of Parthenon for Outcasts? Anyways I ended up pulling the trigger on my Tier-10 grenade launcher that shoots out nailbombs. Human talent for prodigious firepower after all. Power crystals, evidence of Avian influence but those capsules! Already the high-tech feel of the place screams "APEX HERE!" but why are Glitch (outcasts, assumingly) being stationed for guardwork? What's with this three-way alliance I have not heard about? "Dustbird"? I assumed it's just the namegen bugging out, there's no way... After seeing the dead end to the right, I went the other way towards the left. I do comment on the amount of lava kept in precarious glass structures. Can it be added so that explosives will break the glass, causing a molten disaster in the facility? By the way, where I am standing at the second screenshot, the AI just kept walking up the stairs and jumps haplessly at me. I deduced that the pathfinding works by trying to 'get even' with the character, couldn't they just directly come at me so I can blow their faces off? Cuddletaker? So, he/she's like a body pillow since he/she takes cuddles? Whoever mans the repurposing station is definitely Avian. It's either that or disgustingly they flay actual Glitch and wear their chassis over themselves. Plus they can't fit those beaks into those monkey helmets. Ah, the unfortunate chick (both literal and metaphorical). This is not the same one in the previous screenshot. I just waited for him to slip and fall to his death. It was supposed to be meaningful but I forgot why. Tiy you magnificent bastard, this is one of the most unorthodox dungeons I've seen at all. EDIT: Normally I would try to loot these settlements but I felt so awed that I left it be. (I even reset the planet after the massacre)
My first character got one of these on his starting planet a very short distance to the left of spawn. I'm still not sure which race runs it.
Then I guess it'll be one of those unique things in Starbound that'll forever mystify us. Though I assumed Avians because of the namegen.
Owwww... I didnt notice that at first... Well then we got this: 1 point for Glitch, becouse they're wearing their armour 2 points for Avians, becouse of that DustBird and becouse of crystals, becouse Avians are knowed for their crystal tech. 3 points for Apex, becouse of the helmets, hightech style, and becouse of all the furniture. Still I dont think any of these control the station...
