I'm not really sure what we have in store for gardening, but I would really like to see prickly pears as something that can be grown. What's great about this plant is that the young pads and fruit are edible, and the seeds can be ground into a sort of flour.

Please include more detail. Where would you find them? How long would it take them to grow? How many fruit do you get per harvest? Sprites?
These would be found in an arid/desert biome Being that these are perennial and long lived plants IRL It would be a crop that continues to give over a long period of time. IMO this plant would take two or three times as long as a normal crop to start producing but would continue to yield fruit indefinitely at the normal rate of a garden crop. I have not seen much info on gardening in this game, even though it is one of the things I am really interested in.
