Greenlight

When ever I look in steam greenlight I never happen to see Starbound in there, and I think I even saw somewhere on here that it was greenlit(?).Regardless of Starbound's state or development, it should be up there in my opinion.

If I remember correctly, then chucklefish already have talked to Valve about this and it will get on steam as soon it get released. Im not 100% sure im right, but I belive I read that somewhere on the forums.

 

The devs have aproached Valve directly with Starbound instead of going trough greenlight. And as can be seen on the per-order page distribution via steam is already confirmed with each tier stating"1x Copy of Starbound + Steam key"

 

I believe they were talking with Valve before Greenlight was announced as a thing. They're already approved for Steam, and the beta should be available on Steam's Early Access program once it's ready (see the interview with Molly from last week):

That might have been Stardew Valley or Risk of Rain; both are published by Chucklefish and have been greenlit.

I've moved it to General Discussion, as that's a more "catch-all" section than Pre-order Support is.

 

I think I heard Gabe Newell is a Fan.
