Great... Now that the patch is out, Steam is down

Pretty hard to get a grasp on this update without playing it for myself considering many who are posting about it are stark raving mad and I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Seems like a lot of mixed reviews but mostly people seem upset, for whatever that is worth

Speak for yourself. I live in South Carolina and I've only seen snow twice in my 28 years. I remember making dirty brown snowmen as a kid.

 

Well in the city snow is pretty and white for about 2 secs before everything becomes a nasty grey sludge and it puts everyone in a psychotic mood and then you have to deal with that on top of the disgusting sidewalks and streets

 

There's like 3 feet of snow where I am, can't get the front door open very easily...so i know what it's like.

Looks pretty outside, but ehhh...don't feel like going out there >.>

 

Fair point. I want to make one classic snowman before I die.

 

I still can't connect to download the patch.. what gives?!

 

Hmm. Now that Steam is back up, it finished the patch update but won't start and says '

I was having issues but it turned out starbound.exe was still running in task manager. Maybe check to see if it's there and if so then getting rid of it should do the trick

 

i've restarted the computer five times and it says connection timed out for the patch... just tried again Nope nothing. *eye twitch* also i've scoured processes for the traces of the program Nope nothing was left open.. Its empty.. Steam still won't patch it.. *Fist in the air* Damn't steam!

 

dayum man.. sry to hear. I couldn't get it to work for a couple hours because of that. Hope you get it sorted soon
