This may not sound as big as it is. But it opens a wide variety of new content ideas. If you wear gravity boots you may push the g (gravity) key to flip the world top-down. You automatically fall down a little to the next position up to you (I mean down to you). It may sound less interesting, but think it is a very big deal. Think of yourself flipping your gravity and your friend doesn't. While your friend walk on the bottom, you walk on the top. From your sight of view the water flows up, liana hangs up, trees and plants grow down and if you're near surface you fall down to orbit. In the first this may sound just quit funny. But this would be the first step for space stations! With space stations, where one player walks on a plate and you walk on the plate, too, but on the other site. It sounds small, but is a real big deal. And it would enrich content very much.
just so we're clear, this would allow you to fly - like it did in terraria. except what you're suggesting is a piece of an armor, not a technology. do you want it to be a technology (so it's tempered by energy use)? and if so let's remember that a technology called 'gravity reversal' already does exactly this.
That would be no problem cause it's hell-o-hylotl easier to use that with gravity bubble or butterfly ability
