Grappling Hook

I know it exists, but the wikis have very little information. All they have is the description of the item from the game, and a texture.

This means that I can't find out how to craft it, or whether it's even in the game yet. Does anyone know this? More so, does anyone know a website that has a decent level of information about the items and blocks in Starbound, or has there just not been enough time for wikis to be updated?

 

It exists and it looks like a functional item in the assets, just that there's no way to craft it. If you want one you'll probably have to create your own recipe.

 

I may look into doing that, a grappling hook seems like something that's just too good to pass by.

 

Also, there is a one-use equivalent currently available in the Climbing Rope, it's a few plant fibers and iron.

 

I know, but I just dislike consumable things

 

Tonight's update will fix the overpowered hand-crafted weapons, and add a crafting recipe for Grappling Hooks.
Also other things, but really, are you more excited about grappling hooks or recapturing pets?

 

I've already got a grappling hook, it's just a few tiers in.

 

You need durasteel and climbing rope to make it.

 

Its bit wonky right now but, if you can get it going right it works like magic. I was grapple swinging from asteroid to asteroid and mining solarium/plutonium xD.

 

Asteroid? Space layer?

 

yeah if you go up high enough it gets uber cold and there's asteroids to mine with fuel sources usually.

 

Nothing that a full set of Snow-whatever armor can't handle, right?

 

Well i was freezing in my impervium armor soooooooo you might want to bring a few campfires like i did lol.

 

How much warmth does impervium give?

 

Don't know exactly atm I'm not on. But it gives a lot more than the snow gear I'm pretty sure.
