Grappling Hook map

Me and a couple of friends decided to make a bit of an arena for the grappling hook to use and ended up having a lot of fun with it so I decided that I'd show some of the things we'd done in it!

 

I love the grappling hook's physics.

I could reach the bottom to the top of a cavern I've made for mining using similar maneuvers.

 

This should be an olympic sport.

Grappling hook mechanics changed since the last patch... Most of the tricks here are difficult, if not impossible, to do.

As awesome as this is I can't help but feel that the Spider-Man song would have been far more appropriate for the video.

 

You know, Starbound still has plenty of flaws, being in beta and all.

However, despite all of it's other small problems, it definitely has the most entertaining grappling hook physics that I've ever played around with in a game. The dev that worked on this specific feature deserves a big pat on the back.

We made a tower to the top of the world and raced to the top but that was pretty much it haha
