Graphics Glitch: Flashes to Blank Screen

I have an issue where Stardew Valley occasionally blinks an all-black screen. The game does not crash, it just blinks the screen. It is all rather annoying, still.

It only happens on one of our machines:
- Gigabyte GTX 1050Ti 4GB graphics
- Windows 10
- Nvidia updated drivers
- Core i7 7700
- Z270 chipset

It works fine on a machine with a GTX 1060 6GB and Windows 10. It also works fine a Broadwell Core i7 NUC.

The machine is a compact build, but the temperature of the graphics card is nowhere near bad levels.

Other games like Lego Worlds that stress the graphics card much more work just fine without glitches. There is something that Stardew Valley does that causes this behavior.
