So I'm loving Star Bound and was wondering the minimum specs to run a server. My two options atm is my main Desktop which I know can run it with little to no problem, or my RaspberryPi. Just wondering the mim before I trek this endeavor.

Raspberry Pis use an ARM instead of X86 architecture and there is no ARM binary of Starbound or its server (or any commercial game, with a few exceptions).

well one of my community members owns a server in a data center , he has 1 core that is equivalent to maybe a top notch i3 or maybe a i5 , he say he would have thought the server would cap on RAM but apparently having 4 players on a server really pushes the core the peak , infact he thinks the server wont even handle 5 + players , and he also had to switch to Linux cause windows server RP2 was taking up well to much RAM

so if its just for personal use as in just the desktop , then should be okey but lag will accour over time if yous are on it for long periods of time

Yeah I was worried about that part as well, kinda focused on specs atm (warn out and trying to figure out my options).

That sticks, seems like I won't be trying that for a while. Oh well, thanks for the replies both of you guys :D.
