Gnome Gun too rare?

I've explored 8 - 10 gnome villages, smashed a couple thousands of houses.

In the mean time, I've got tens of gnome hats, building hats etc., but no gnome gun...


Is that because I am too unlucky or I'm doing the wrong way farming the gnome gun? I'm playing 1.0 ver.

(BTW, I even obtained a Bobot figurine during the gnome village hunt...)

 

I found the gnome gun in a chest somewhere... not in a gnome village....however I forget where... but I did not find it in a gnome village. So maybe you can't find it in the gnome villages?

If you head to page 55 of the Coordinates Megathread, a user named Roselle posted coordinates and instructions on how to reach a gnome gun they found.

 

how so? if it was said loot is randomsied and not generated anymore that should not be possible.

 

Only loot inside generated structures, like towns or dungeons, is randomized. If it's a biome chest, like the one that had the gnome gun, it'll be consistent for everyone with the same galaxy layout. Of course, if your galaxy is different, there probably wont even be a system at those coordinates, but that's based on what you play on. Unless they changed that since I last played a week ago, but I don't think they've pushed out the next update yet, so it should be good.

gnome villages are actually quite common, the gun is not though. But trying to make you less disappointed, it's not that strong, and (drops fps, for me )

 

Well I still miss 5 legendary weapons... I'm collecting them lol.

(Yes I'm going to collect all legendary weapons, all cosmetic armors... Uptil now I'm about 70%-80% complete...)

 

Haven't you heard? As of 1.0, you can only find Gnome Guns on planets oribiting keem stars.
