I'm actually rather glad you are being so inquisitive. This and your question about homes. I can answer this one now, they do but its is not pitch black, more of a off black. I'll draw homes later.
is there a full list of colors available? or is it just a "if you ask, I'll probably add it" sort of thing?
They come in every color, at one point of there history the color of their skin determined thar social class.
In a standard graphic program, your color-wheel can have 255 shades of Red, Green, and Blue, which can combine into... a big number of colors. Either you're really ambitious, or you're definition of "Every Color" is different from mine... ... would devs be willing to give us a color-wheel to play with in character creation to decide what we wanted? I... you raise questions in me I should have thought of before now.
Well when I say every color I mean red to violet. They won't have over saturated colors. But they will have many colors. If i need to adapt for starbound i will.
cool! Will there be any 'patterned' official skins for your race? The gillians have a Koi pattern available to them, unless Dragonith is just showing off art with that.

oh I remember dynafols mentioning you in his final video...and seeing this one you did a pretty good job with it. if i may offer a suggestion I'd say since dynafols is done doing starbound news maybe he wouldn't mind if you used his style of video which consists of: random art of the race with provided name of race im beginning of video copy/paste text of information regarding the race accompanied with some customized music any extra information with the usual question of "do you like this?" then ending it with credits or your own final thoughts. I like your video and I think it's a great series to start....but my OCD kicks in when I saw the browsing of the forum as part of the video since to me that looks sorta strange as if you were recording this live or something or you forgot to edit it out. but again thats just my OCD so it's not me trying to diminish the great quality the video has. I like it, hope nirn likes it and adds it to the OP, and I hope you do more in the future
Thanks for the tips man, the "browsing the forums" bit was added in to avoid having a still image for too long, probably wasn't the best idea.
