Glitch Starter Ship, Opinions and Comments

Oh my god, yes! The Flying Dutchman lives!

 

As a Glitch fan, I have to admit I do not like their vessel that much. It comes across to me as a Steampunk'ish submarine rather than a space ship with a medieval twist.

Nevertheless, thank you for sharing this. It's always interesting to see new stuff. ^^

 

I agree with this, I'd love a more medieval-styled ship too.
It's cool, nonetheless. Steampunk always does a good job.

 

I'm a big fan of steam punk. So I definitely like this new image. When I first saw it, all i could think of was.. "If that is the ship for the Glitch, what are they going to use for the Novakid? The flying time train from back to the future"?

I like it, but I hope the general shape of the crafts deviate, especially as you upgrade in ship class. Having them all take the same general shape in the beginning is OK, but as they go on I want to see a lot more variance.

Remember, spaceships don't have to be aerodynamic, especially in cases like Starbound. They can be anything you want them to be!

There is a mention of later in the game gaining access to the other races tech. Maybe you will get to change ships then.

 

When I first pictured the Novakid ship, I pictured it with kind of a bronco-type design, especially at the cockpit.
