Glich NPC w/ Pet

Never seen pets with NPC's. Is this new, or old? I like it!

 

I'm pretty sure it's just a random passive mob, haven't heard anything about NPC pets.

 

It's a pretty common thing in Glitch villages. Pretty sure I've seen them around since Angry Koala at least.

 

I can confirm this. I did see the glitch with pets in stables such as this in angry koala.

 

It's in a barn. That's no pet, it's dinner. At least I assume it's food because that thing does not look easy to milk.

 

it's not easy, but boy is it worth it.

Every Glitch village that has a barn structure like this, has a merchant and a pet. Behind the one in the picture is a trough, the only place you'll find one in-game. There are two beds, so obviously the haystack was meant as a place for the animal to sleep, too.

Watch out what the merchant sells, is all I'm sayin'.

Milking the grotnix is one of the things locals try to get gullible tourists to do. It's like hunting the snark or eating prairie oysters.
