It seems you are quite late on what has happened recently. I suggest you read this Q&A posted on Reddit a week ago.

 

Would it really? I bet we'd get more complaints like " Oh that's ALL you did in one day? Wow you guys really were slacking all this time!"

 

It feels like we got more info recently so why the sudden wave of complaints?

I don't think people will do that, it's just that nothing relevant had been posted for a very long time and it tends to increase tension within the community, especially when stuff about other games suddenly appears on the starbound front-page.

A lot of people would be happy even if CF would post about some "boring" code related thing, at least it would show they're still alive and kicking regarding Starbound.

Regarding that twitter post: News every day is cool, but seems overkill and pretty hard to keep consistent though, picking one or two days in the week and always try to post on those might be a better solution.

 

I've been saying since before beta that improved PR would be a godsend for Chucklefish's endeavors. All they really need is for each team member to write down / email what they've been working on and what they've finished each week, and get the PR manager (who is Mollygos at this point) or a writer or such to compile this information into a large, worthwhile news update each week. The politics of things ("We're moving to a new office!", "We're publishing a new game!" And etc) should be either of lower priority than starbound updates, or be taken to a chucklefish general blog/website and not on playstarbound.com.

 

Quite frankly you don't deserve shit. That feeling of entitlement is still rife around here it seems.

 

I paid money for a game, I'm entitled to a game. Not a beta. As Hazmat nicely put, I want to hear about updates for Starbound. I couldn't possibly care less about what else they have in development, and I'm not asking for a book describing every action they're taking. Status updates arn't too much to ask for, just tell us what in particular is being worked on. Not just "We're working on ships and stuff", but rather "We are working towards this, and we're currently working on this specificly." Example: "We're working on Ship Design stages, specificly designing room layout and etcetra."

 

It's made quite clear that paying for the game now will give you a beta. Therefore you paid for a beta now, and will be entitled to the full game once the full game is ready.
