Since there is guarenteed water pressure, might there be water geysers that open and shoot out water/lava when you mine it? This could make great traps with pressure pad, lava pressure, and removable by pressure pad blocks :DD

I remember debating something about geysers with Sham. I dunno where that was.

We weren't arguing here. I was just trying to provide constructive feedback for someone and they got upset.

This wasn't even about actual geysers, and when you mentioned something about them I even backed you up :p.

Just saying that they've basically confirmed Guysers as possible because water pressure is confirmed. Even if they aren't any natural ones you could make your own.

I will make one and call it "The Mouth of Ozymandias".;)

As long as it only has hot air in it.

Never my friend. I said it in jest but I very much respect your opinions.

Yeah, I thought this was pretty much already established by the water pressure mechanics. I want to pump massive quantities of water into a holding tank directly beneath my house, and place a pressure plate near the sides of my house that removes a block on top of the water supply. Something steps on the pressure plate, they get rocketed into the air by a 1-2 second geyser, water supply closes off to reset the trap. Maybe have a pump constantly filling it until it hits the point of "holy crap I can't fill this any more" at which point it waits until the pressure drops to continue pumping.

Could the weight of a heavy enemy.ie. boss or mech set of the pressurized water and cause a geyser on its onw?
that would be an interesting mechanic to add in...

Kind of like a natural pressure pad only activated by using heavy weights?

    Yep, exactly like one.
Combine that with the physics of water and air, you could easily destroy some of the larger enemies with wasting too much ammo.
But this is all determined on the weight ratios in game.
