Closed Getting Trapped in Ship Blocks

When you put two chairs at the front of a ship like this:

Sit in it, then get out of the chair, your head is stuck in the block above the chair.

Normally you'd just be able to mine the block, but since it's a ship you can't.
Now, this can be fixed by reconnecting to the world (if on multiplayer), but it's still kind of annoying.

And before anyone asks, there is actually a real reason for doing this, that's how I discovered it. I was trying to create "passenger seats", and my ship's main room was filled with stuff.
