hey there, just a quick question: i am about to buy the Starbound OST via steam and i wondered if it will show up as a regular game in my library-list? this may sound stupid, but i have never bought a soundtrack on steam before and i am just wondering how this works?

also, there will be probably be more songs when Starbound finaly releases - will these also be included later on?

    thanks for your help!

You should wait for final release before promising yourself to buy something that may change or become free in the near future.

I believe it does. I have bought the OST on Steam as well, and the files are located in the Steam common apps folder if I'm not mistaken.

any reason for it to become free? i am currently not seeing that happen... and i assumed that as the soundtrack changes, the download will be updated, just the same as the game updates. no?

    thanks

It's not going to be free in any paradox or universe... ever....

Yep if you buy a sound track you gotta do some file digging just look in the steam folder
Program 86x?(don't have a 64-bit pc anymore :p)>Steam>SteamApps>Common>Starbound>(somewhere in there should be the soundtrack)

Don't take everything you read as a factual statement. It was hypothetical.

It was but simple advice for you to not rush into things.

Edit: Check the assets folder before you buy.
