Silver is a lot more common very very deep underground.
As far as armour goes the snow infantry set, crafted using 8 leather a piece
and a yarn spinner is much better I believe.

Alright, here's a good question: How are we able to use dyes? Are there specific items that can be dyed?

if you put an item into the 3-d printer and push escape it will make a free copy of it. not sure if this is intended or not

Hey here's a hint: Do not try to slay own spawned Civilians! They will die! I just crafted one and it took very long to do so and now he's GONE ;(

Gold is extremely common near the core of the world as well. Also Arid planets have more ore then non-arid planets.

You don't have to watch items in the smelter. Just set your ore to smelt and exit the menu and it will continue to convert in to bars. This works for cooking meat as well.

    Storage Containers (incomplete):
Small Wood Crate - 9 spaces
Small Steel Crate - 16 Spaces
Large Wood Crate - 16 Spaces
    Chests - 16 Spaces

Kitchen Tables (found in some villages) help you craft different foods. Prepared meals, like hamburgers (wheat & cooked meat), are more nutritious than raw meat alone and can fill your hunger bar quicker.

    - Need Ore? -
    1. Fly to high difficulty planet (moons reported to have higher ore content (unconfirmed)
    2. Move slightly to the side of transport spot (so you don't fall to your death next time you land)
    3. Dig straight down laying torches along the way (so you don't accidentally fall into a large open cavern)
    4. Stop at the lowest possible level
    5. Mine left/right and search for large deposits of rare ore.
    6. Save/exit then restart in your ship, or use dirt to climb back to the surface. Or die. lol.

Learn to build "bunkers" that you can hide in during combat with tough enemies. I keep a stack of dirt on the hot-bar. Typically, enemies cannot dig, so you can easily build a dirt wall to protect yourself while you take a quick nap in your tent mid-combat. Leave a small window to shoot arrows out of to take down enemies.

Higher level planets tend to have higher level weapons. Be brave and go fight some bandits on a high level planet to get some high level weapons, then return to the safety of a mid-tier planet for mining/building/exploring.

    - Questions -
Is there a way to "deposit all/loot all" from containers?
Grappling Hook??? Seems like there's got to be a use for the 30 "climbing rope" I have...
Is there a tool like the bucket in Terraria that allows you to transport water/lava?

Do I need an anvil or something to make tech?

I believe you typically need to find tech devices. After you find one, return to your ship and place it in the tech box to unlock it. Afterwards, you should be able to see the tech device in your inventory. Hit the F key to use most tech devices.
