I've gone through 3+ years of the game and don't even have half the recipes. Once more, the cooking show keeps telling me recipes I already know! Doing a quick look on Steam, I see that the achievement for cooking 25 recipes (Sous chief) has been awarded to only 0.2% of players!! So how do I get more recipes!
Welp if you get your friends heart levels to 5 and up they'll mail you there recpies. As in make more friends in town and they'll send you recipes.
I have nearly all the recipes, I'm missing some of the cooking show ones as they never show up and it's infuriating. I get the idea behind it, making the tv more exciting and useful but I would really love for an alternatively venue to get some of them such as adding them to Gus a week after they ran on TV. Turning on each Sunday and Wednesday in hope of finally snagging the two missing ones just for it being the wrong one again, is driving me up the wall.
Yea, I'm missing three now and it's getting kinda annoying. I have all the heart events ones, the mail ones, the ones Gus sells so it's just the cooking show. Would be nice to have the traveling merchant sell a random recipe every week.
Not necessarily random but the TV show appears to not care which ones you have. So given the runs + reruns and the number of recipes. You might wait for years for yours to show up.
Yep, that is my problem. I have bought all the recipes I can and I have 5 hearts with 10 people now...
