Hello all! Found this game being mentioned on a comment section at massively a few hours ago and couldn't believe how amazing it looked! Decided to go ahead an make a forum account, say my hello, read about the game some, and possibly ask a few questions here and there. I was also wondering, how did you all find out about Starbound?
That's no forum newcomer...it's a space station... Seriously, though, welcome to the Starbound community. It's a friendly bunch, and I hope you have a great time. As for how I found out about Starbound, it was probably a news article on a website somewhere. I suspect it was comparing Starbound to Terraria, which I was deeply into at the time.
Welcome aboard, oh destroyer of planets! Just kidding but do have a good time. My way of finding out was finding a random article back in the beginning of last year or something, after which I decided to take a closer look. Only decided to follow actively around July if I recall correctly. So now I am here, greeting newcomers, hanging in the IRC and having a nice time with people I am going to play with
