Ehm. You seem to have trouble discerning REAL WORLD PROBLEMS with.. A GAME.
People didn't like being slaves, so they dealt with it. Do you see many slaves around anymore?
If you get beat up in school because you're gay, you need to tell someone about the assholes that do it and get them taken care of.
I never said ANYTHING about bucking up and dealing with it in THE REAL WORLD. this is a GAME that we're talking about. I don't give a shit if you're offended because they don't have a "none" gender in a GAME.

This thread is getting out of hand. Why not just modify the current system as with the second suggestion. (As people seem to have a problem with removing gender options)

Thanks, yea both of these kind of indicate visually what I'm talking about. I'm more in favor of the second option, but without the "?" button. Just a personal preference. Thanks for posting these. Maybe it'll help clear up some confusion.

There's some minor confusion here. You're both right, really. The suggestion asks to remove the "male/female" option and replace it with body type selection. This is still a binary choice a/b ; male/female ; 0/1 ; etc. For most people, it's still selecting one choice out of 2 options. With, or without boobs. Kinda lame. And really, the suggestion allows the [formerly] male character to use [formerly] female hairstyles/clothes in a way that they could not before.

 

Well alright; at least it was named from among a list of options.
