Bug/Issue GeForce NOW save wont transfer to Steam on my Desktop

I have a Starbound save on GeForce NOW. GFN from here. GFN is a cloud gaming service. I was using it while my desktop was being fixed. Recently my desktop has been fixed and I can now use it. But to my surprise the character file did not transfer over the steam cloud. This was odd because my Stardew Valley save did transfer. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and if it was an issue with Steam or the game its self.
