Before reading you have to know some point I'm going to throw: English is not my native language so I'm sorry if I destroy your eyes sometime (add the fact I'm dyslexic and you got a blurpy glurping result sometimes...) I'm kinda new to the game ( Sector 2 tier 5 ) so I might throwing some non-logical idea or say some error about stuff or other. Don't be afraid to correct me ( as it remains polite) I searched on the forum with multiple therms and find just two topic about my idea with not a lot of reply, so I creat it and develops it more ! You will find also a poor picture 'toshoped , it's poorly did I know it, you don't have to say it again, I know it 'right ? Then I just throw my idea 'cause I think it's something cool to develops the game and have a better depth in the gameplay, I don't claim that it IS the best idea. Be agree , be desagree but try to argue it's better to have a better final game And of course throw your idea too or correct mine if you think you have a better version, I will edit the post if it fit with my vision, and maybe the devs will like that. Then my idea took some inspiration of this post so I quote him to thanx him ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part One: Classes - Specialization So I would like to see some specialization in the weapon we use , because actually it's a bit "do what you want when you want" , the basic idea is cool but what's the point then, except your preference ? I mean... use the strongest weapon you have and that's all , there is not real important choice to make. So here my idea, a specialization about the weapons you use ! How does it will works: Every time you use a weapon you will gain some experience in this type of weapon ( two handed, one handed, pistol, shield.... ) and then you'll gain level and level etc... ( in the weapon, not on your character ! ). Of course the speed of this levels will be pretty slow (because of the numbers of the enemies etc etc... it's not something you will earn in 2hour of gaming). Here how it will looks ( each scree will be accessible via the back-corner arrow, that will not be 3 screen taking all your window haha ) It will be on a 10 level scale: At level 5 you can specializes in this thing, and that will give you some bonus , and at level 10 you could master specializes and it will give more important bonus. BUT you will be able to choose only two specialization, as you can see on the picture, so you can have all bonus but not use them at the same time ! Then you have to paid it ! Indeed the specialization will cost a bunch of pixel , and of course master one will be greatly highter ! You made a bad choice ? Well you could respecialize, for an other large cost of Pixel ! Also , these specialization will be able for almost every usable objects and really category-listed , I mean like this: One handed weapon , Two handed weapon , Shield , Rifle pistol , Sniper Pistol , Shotgun Pistol , Magic Power (This is just a "beta" name, just about what I saw in the future update the devs work on...) etc etc... Because it's only bonus you can still use other tools as before but you will just have more strength with your spe-tool Here some idea about the bonus, you can throw your idea too , and of course , I let the developers and, mostly, the time, to set a correct balance to avoid over-powered specialization. And the list could go on , depending of what the devs add to the game Part Two: Enchantment. Well I don't know if it's planned or not but I would like to enchant my weapon ! You know when sometime you drop a axe with electric power or a sword with fire power , could be cool to make it your own ! With reasonable ressource cost of course ! Since , as far as I know for now , there is no real fire/electric drop I can't really give proper crafting layout but I think it could stay logical that a fire enchantment will need a bunch of fire "somthing" , same for electric , and same for leaf , right ? But I will give some enchantment idea ( big sorry if it already exist , apart for the fire and electric): Fire enchantment => Fire damage Electric __ => Electric damage Nature ___ => Will be crafted with leaf or other and result of nature damage. Ice ___ => Crafted with some special ice drop (not the ice cube , but speciale things like "ice heart" dropped from ice mob or other...) Poison __ => Crafted with some flower and other stuff to creat the poison. So that will give you a little advantage, and you could enchant various stuff: Weapon like sword bow ect , and guns (that will shot fire, ice, electric or other) etc... and armor to , contrariwise, block or mitigate it ! Also these enchantment will not be permanent, so you will have to recharge (or change) them regularly. Once again, you can throw your idea , or criticize it ! I can 100% understand that you don't want to see an another enchantment thing in this game. Part Three: Armor's depth. I think it could be great if there is more data about each armor ! Like the weight. So a weighter armor will not allow you to jump highter , instead of a lighter one , but that one will be less protective. So depending of your gameplay you will have to choose the correct one: A two handed gameplay will choose a strong but slow one A one handed gameplay will choose a light one because he will jump and run a lot of time to avoid the enemies' shot. This is just some exemple about the general idea , but here what I have in mind : Your gameplay is one hand weapon => Use a stuff that boost your speed and jump , but you will have to be carefull 'cause it will be less protective Your gameplay is two hand weapon => Use a stuff that boost your deffense but you will be a bit slower so be smart to kill fast Your gameplay is pistol (all sort) => Use a stuff that boost your vitality but lower your deffense, stay away from enemy and have a good aim ! These bonus will not be too big, just enought to help you , and not too much too give some "badd 4ss" class or " A is unkillable for B but C D E etc can " . The goal of this is to give some different gameplay depending which "class" you want to play, to have a better experience, a funnier game and deeper gameplay , but the main difficulty is to avoid overpowered class ! And once again you can throw your ideas and give your opinions , that will help me to build this thread in a better way. That's all ! Yeah! Good idea. Character/Skill advancement of this sort would add even more depth to the gameplay. Maybe it is too optimistic to hope for this in anything other than a mod but we can hope....besides from what I have seen there are some more than capable modders for this game. Great concept though Daftboy.

It would be really interesting to see how this will affect gameplay when this is added it will be added because its such a great idea keep up the good work
