So, recently i downloaded stardbound on gamepass and i wanted to install mods. I've already tried putting the mods on Documents, on Windowsapps and on program files, but it always crashes just after the chucklefish logo. Any advice on what to do?
Your logs should tell you the reason for the crash. No way to even guess without them. I'm guessing those too are in a different folder for the gamepass version. In other versions of starbound it would be - /starbound/storage/starbound.log
I had the same problem, it was frackin making it not work, it's def Microsoft game pass causing the problem. Because on the gog version it works fine. I don't think there is a fix to it, Microsoft doesn't let you get into the files, or launch it from the exe.
