Speaking of the vita I heard Persona 4 was good.

A little quick to judge, perhaps, but he's not really wrong.

According to him, he just took a glimpse and made a quick assumption, which equals to shallow.

I play the game, and I can safely say that it is NOT pay to win. The main things they sell are skins and such, I mean seriously, how do you expect a F2P game to stay in business? Other things include things such as exp boost and maybe have access to a weapon earlier, but you're not excluded from most of those weapons... and most of the weapons you can't buy have a different alternative, not better or worse, just slightly different which you can get from actually playing the game. And if you think about it, you can't "win" without team work. If you're soloing the game, you're doing it wrong.
And if someone pays for the game while you didn't, of course they are going to have access to a different (not better) weapon or toy over you earlier.

Now, I'll admit I haven't played in a few months (mainly because I was sick of the pay to win nonsense), but when I left there was massive problems with balance. The people who spent money to get their planes the best weapons could decimate anyone and anything they chose, from relative safety because the standard kits a ground trooper or vehicle had access to had no easy way to take down a plane. Rockets of the heavy were dumb-fire, so good luck hitting a plane with that, the AA MAX suit only came with one arm cannon, and was pretty garbage. No tank came with AA as standard option. And dog-fighting an pay player's plane with your base plane was pointless.

Now, as I said, this was months ago. They may have gotten their shit sorted by now, so there's proper answers to air now, but I gave up on it because when I played, the answer to "how does a noobie fight air power" was "insert credit card number here."

I've been playing indie games to tide me over. :proper:

Factorio - 2D base-building. Use conveyor belts and robotic arms to harvest materials and construct different resources for crafting.

Underrail - Classic isometric RPG. Explore, craft, complete jobs and engage in turn-based combat in a fallen society.

You don't need to lie to yourself to play a game, man.

League players do this also. Just admit your game is pay to win.

I say it isn't. You say it is. Neither one of us is gonna agree on something. I'm not wasting my time any further.

I've been playing Don't starve for a while now, nice little game about surviving in a unforgiving little world.
a fun game for the right person, and plays into the theme of the post.

Its aesthetics are lovely its game play works

Then there's dragon's dogma: Dark arisen, may just be the most action packed combat ever made. If you had yet to get Dragons dogma, then Dark arisen is perfect because you get the original game.

I recently picked up Alpha Centauri for solo play, Saints Row the third to play with my brother and Dark Souls to play with friends so I'm good for a while. Also playing Don't starve, TTT in Gary's mod (Though I'm taking a break because I always get RDMed), Orcs must die 2 and I play DOTA 2 and League of Legends on occasion. I have plenty to tide me over until Starbound...but I'm still really eager for Starbound.

Well I've been playing plenty of different games lately. Dragon Age: Origins, Red Orchestra 1 & 2, Killing Floor, Planetside 2, Warframe, Path of Exile, Spelunky and Papers Please. Mostly Warframe though, because I'm trying to get into that.

I just bought Bioshock Infinite! But I won't start it until I'm done with Tomb Raider, which I'm pretty sure I'm more than halfway through now.

How is League of Legends pay to win? That made no sense.

And to pass time, nothing better than some good old TF2. Ahhhh, never gets old... wait...

Anybody who hasn't played Don't Starve really needs to give that game a go, its insanely awesome and will just chew up and spit out hours of your life everytime you turn it on.

As for the pay to win argument, there are varying degrees of pay to win in almost every game out there, if you keep bundling games with experience boosts under the pay to win tag alongside games with invincible suits of armour, people are going to assume you are a jackass...

Anybody who says that Planetside 2 was pay to win on release, or that LoL is pay to win falls under the title of jackass, end of discussion.
