Game soft locks if you cast your fishing rod at your horse

I was standing on the dock holding an iridium fishing rod, facing south. I accidentally cast instead of mounting the horse, and was stick holding my rod. No buttons at all would work. Time progressed, but when it hit 2am I did not pass it, it just stopped time. I had to restart the game
