game release date

well its late summer already so will game be launched later week or anytime soon?

Nahh..And even if thats true, im sure it'll be launched before the 21st. So you'll have an amazingly fun game to play before we die

 

the release of starbound is the end of the world. every single human being will be playing starbound, nobody will go to work, nuclear plants will be left without attendance and BOOM, apocalypse.

 

maybe starbound will become some sort of matrix itself ? hence the end of the world as we know it

 

We even have any sort of beta yet, just a fact that their will be a beta but no idea how its going to get planned out (faqs page).
So im guessing the release date will be coming soon but actually released around September-Octoberish. but thats just my guess.

How so? We dont really have much updates on the progress of the game, unless im missing something?

 

Well my guess is that it'll be released late october/ mid november. And it's already August, so if you have something to do to pass the time ( for me its school, job, friends ) then it'll go by pretty fast. So if you have nothing to do to pass the timee. then i dunno what to tell you

 

I'm prepared for it to come out as late as December 31'st. The more time for development/perfection, the better.

 

I don't care when, as long as it WILL come out at all.

Well. I think i'd rather have a more complete and tested game come out while im in school then get to play some rushed slop. Also if it does come out before 2012 and if the apocalypse is true i wish to die playing Starbound. lol

 

it got pushed back to end of the year so were looking at christmas /sometime in december/when its done

 

to say it was pushed back isint really accurate since "late summer" was really only a very loose "benchmark" tiy gave, and even then he said he wasent too confident he'd make it

 

well its not really a push back your right just couldn't figure out how to say the time frame has changed as we've gone from summer to winter but obviously as we all know they wont give us exact dates for there own reason of not wanting to rush it to production to meet said date
