Game plays and walkthroughs

I think you missed the "Developer's Let's play" part.

 

... ...... Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhh. Well, if it's the developers than, it's fine. Because I don't want someone to spoil the feel of first playing the game. But the devs would be more telling us about the game rather than spoiling the feel of first playing it.

 

This is the age old argument between those who want to see/play as soon as possible and those who would rather experience it for themselves. Both sides are valid opinions. The simple fact is, those already interested in the game and who know about it will generally be more likely to want to experience it for themselves, but they aren't necessarily the audience "Let's Plays" are designed for. LPs bring in players who had no idea the game existed and ultimately make sales and widen the player base for the devs.

 

Yes, it would spoil the game too much. The best part about sandbox games is that helpless feeling that you have at the beginning. Well, that's my opinion, anyway.
